USA: survey on the cost of illness and impact of Age-related Macular Degenerations

USA: Cost of illness and impact of Age-related Macular Degenerations – socioeconomic and quality of life assessment

We need your support!

Retina International is conducting a global study to better understand the real impact of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). This includes the dry form called geographic atrophy (GA) and the neovascular form called wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD).

If you are living in the USA, you are invited to participate in a survey being conducted to better understand the impact of AMD.

The survey is open to caregivers or individuals who are at least 18 years old and provide assistance, care or support to someone who has been diagnosed with moderate to severe GA, or wAMD more than 6 months ago.

A member of the team can also complete the survey with you over the phone. Contact: info@retina-international.org.

Thank you for your cooperation!

The information gathered through this survey will increase knowledge and understanding about the impact on the daily lives and well-being of people living with AMD and those who support and care for them, and expand on the economic costs of AMD to health and social care, employment and caregivers.
