RIWC 2020 Reykjavik – Postponed

Official announcement from the organising committee regarding RIWC 2020 postponement to 2022.

Reykjavík, 2 April 2020:

Dear Colleagues,

The 21st Retina International World Congress has been postponed until 2022.

The event will now take place from June 8 –11, 2022 at the HARPA Concert Hall and Conference Centre, Reykjavík, Iceland.

As you are aware, the coronavirus pandemic has made it impossible to have an international congress in 2020. The health and safety of all our participants is of the utmost importance to us. The RIWC Committee has therefore concluded that the best option is to reschedule the congress to 8-11 June 2022.

There will be continued collaboration with NOK – the Nordic Congress of Ophthalmology and both congresses will take place at the seam time and venue in June 2022. We are very grateful to all who committed time to planning this year ‘s congress, the keynote speakers, moderators and authors of the free papers.

We are also very thankful for the support of our Sponsors and Exhibitors and hope to see you all in 2022.

To all of you and your families, take care and stay safe.

We look forward to welcoming you in Iceland in June 2022.

On behalf of the organizing committee
