Retina International is pleased to share that our research, “Association Between Visual Acuity and Cognitive Performance: Evidence from The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA),” has been published in the ARVO 2026 Annual Meeting Abstract Issue following its presentation at this year’s Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Annual Meeting by Kate Fankun Cao, our Post-Doctoral Researcher.
Using data from The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA), the study examines the relationship between visual acuity and cognitive performance, contributing to a growing understanding of how vision health is connected to broader aspects of healthy ageing.
The publication reflects Retina International’s continued commitment to generating high-quality evidence that advances understanding of retinal disease and informs future research, policy, and clinical practice.
