On September 19 in Strasbourg, Prof. Hélène Dollfus, coordinator of ERN-EYE, received the insignia of Commandeur de l’Ordre du Mérite, one of France’s highest distinctions. The medal was presented by Prof. Arnold Munnich, recognising Prof. Dollfus’s exceptional career in medical genetics and ophthalmology and her dedication to improving care for people with rare sensory diseases.
