There is an increasing demand for patient involvement in medical innovation at research, industry, and policy levels. Retina International (RI) has observed an unmet need amongst its community, where the knowledge and skills to effectively engage in an advisory or advocacy capacity are not developed.
This inspired the creation of the Retina International Education Hub. Developed by RI Education and Engagement Manager Fiona Waters with the support of subject matter experts and patients, this two-month training and skills development programme focuses on education, participation, and innovation. The course uses a blended learning approach consisting of independent e-learning, interactive virtual discussion seminars and skills development workshops.
We’re delighted to announce that are now recruiting for the second annual Education Hub. Click here for more information on applying to this year’s programme.
This course will take place over two months; from September 10th until November 12th 2022.
