The XXII Biennial Meeting of the International Society for Eye Research champions the advancement of international eye research by uniting the
world’s leading clinicians and vision researchers.
This is an exclusive opportunity for experts to share their latest
findings, technical expertise and experiences in the field.
The scientific program provides a unique platform for presentations and
discussions on advancing global eye and vision research, at both
clinical and laboratory levels. Plenary lectures delivered by leading
experts are balanced with sessions addressing topics of broad,
interdisciplinary interest. Poster presentations represent an array of
the most pertinent eye research being conducted worldwide and provide a
forum for continued and expansive coverage of the topics addressed in
the sessions, amongst others glaucoma, cornea and ocular surface, or
retinal neuroscience and development. The meeting is also organized to
encourage and provide opportunities for young scientists to present
their work and to network with experienced mentors.
The meeting will take place September 9-13, 2018, in Belfast, Dublin.
The venue is the Waterfront in Belfast. For further information please
